LOCAL TREATMENT OF ACUTE AND CHRONIC LESIONS OF DIFFERENT ETIOLOGY, FROM MODERATELY TO HIGHLY EXUDING, SUPERFICIAL AND CAVITARY
Advanced bioactive dressing, sterile, made of natural calcium alginate fibers and with Ozoile®, a patented Bioinducer and Microbicidal, for the local treatment of acute and chronic lesions of different etiology, from moderately to highly exudative, superficial and cavitary. It has excellent adsorBENT power and resistance TO FLUIDS, promotes granulation tissue formation, and, thanks to the presence of Ozoile®, creates an environment hostile to microbial proliferation, allowing its use in the treatment of infected wounds under medical control.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Recommended for filling cavitary lesions. The structure and composition of the dressing allow it to be cut and adapted to lesions of different sizes, shapes, and depths.
INDICATIONS
The dressing is suitable for managing bacterial contamination and infections in highly and moderately exuding wounds, including:
• Pressure ulcers
• Lower limb ulcers (e.g., venous, arterial, mixed)
• Diabetic foot ulcers
• Traumatic wounds
• Surgical wounds
• Oncological and radiation-induced lesions
It is also effective in the treatment of burns, without the risk of dryness and adherence.
FEATURES
• Non-adherent
• Antiseptic
• Absorption capacity
• Ensures excellent exudate management
• Allows easy and painless removal
• Can manage wounds from low to highly exudative
• Helps maintain a moist environment in the wound, an optimal condition for the healing process
HOW TO USE
After cleansing the wound and drying the edges with sterile gauze, apply Regenoma® alginate directly to the wound bed, both on flat lesions avoiding excessive overlap with the edges and in cavitary lesions to fill the substance loss. Thanks to gel formation, Rigenoma® alginate adapts to the walls of the cavitated lesion. Cover with a non-adherent secondary dressing such as Regenoma® Gauze and secure with a containment bandage. Replace Rigenoma® alginate dressing two to three times a week, depending on the amount of exudate, when it is saturated, and its gelation is complete.
