Podoped® Barrier Cream with Ozoile® is a medical device formulated to create a breathable protective barrier that promotes the regeneration and restoration of fragile, hyperkeratotic, and damaged skin on the lower limbs. When combined with Ozoile®, it creates a breathable lipid film that protects the skin. It creates a microenvironment hostile to the proliferation of bacteria and fungi, helping prevent bacterial and fungal superinfections. It stimulates tissue repair and the restoration of skin balance. Podoped® Barrier Cream is indicated as an adjuvant for the protection and maintenance of skin integrity even in the presence of redness from maceration, scaling and dryness between the toes, thickened or cracked skin (e.g., heels, between the toes), conditions predisposing to overmaceration or alteration of the hydrolipidic film, fragile and vulnerable skin (e.g., in subjects with diabetes, use of orthotics, technical footwear), discomfort associated with profuse sweating and bad odor.
