ERBAGIL ESTATE
It was born in the heart of Sannio Beneventano, hinterland of Campania, and extends for a total of about 60 hectares cultivated with olive groves and native vineyards, and medicinal plants, following organic agronomic protocols.
Its roots are firmly anchored in the Campania region and its traditions, but in a continuous evolution of technological innovation of processes and products.
The company philosophy is based on the concept of CIRCULARITY with a view to SUSTAINABILITY : every olive grove, every vineyard and every medicinal plant is a testimony to the commitment to a more sustainable future in harmony with the surrounding environment, demonstrating that it is possible to improve the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the final products, drastically reducing waste and environmental impacts.
A further objective is to guarantee the quality and availability of the native raw materials of Erbagil Tenuta, which are fundamental for industrial supplies.
In this regard, ad hoc protocols will be introduced for the entire agri-food chain, so that affiliated companies can guarantee the same quality of raw materials, respecting the environment and human health. This aims to promote a conscious return to the land, improving human relationships and the agricultural product itself, also favoring the transition to younger generations.

our olive groves
Our olive groves , which cover approximately 57 hectares, host native cultivars such as Ortice, Racioppella and Ortolana, in addition to Leccino. We cultivate according to organic protocols, applying for the Olio Campania IGP certification.
For treatments in the olive grove, we use the tonic OZOGEA® in all phenological phases: as a prevention against pathogenic adversities such as peacock spot or olive scab, then in pre-flowering and at the end of flowering to encourage the pollination of the olive flowers and the setting of the drupes, then increasing the yield during the harvest phase; from July to October, treatments are also carried out to combat the olive fly ( Bactrocera oleae ).
We are partners of a PSR project “EVOOLIO - THE EVOLUTION OF EVO OIL FROM SANNIO TRACED WITH BLOCKCHAIN” to maximize the value of our agri-food supply chain and at the same time our territory.
The EVOOLIO project, using blockchain-based technologies, will track and certify the entire EVO oil production process – from olive cultivation to bottling – for participating Sannio olive growers.
The goal is to allow the end user to access – using their own device – a tamper-proof database containing the entire information history of the product, generating trust in the entire supply chain of the most demanding Italian and foreign consumers and commercial partners, and guaranteeing the authenticity of the final product, confirming the added value of the excellent products obtained from the Estate.
Each phase of the supply chain is therefore carefully studied to guarantee the best raw materials from which to obtain our organic extra virgin olive oil, +OIL, enhancing the qualitative characteristics by combining agricultural tradition and technological innovation. The bottles are numbered in limited series to enhance the uniqueness and the production area.
The oil produced by the Estate, following scrupulous analyses, is partly destined for bottling and as such for the production of food supplements, and partly destined for the ozonation process to be used in the various Erbagil commercial lines.

OUR VINEYARDS
The Erbagil Tenuta vineyards cover 3 hectares and are home to Aglianico and Falanghina varieties. Cultivated on clayey soils with simple curtain training, following specific regulations to obtain the Aglianico Benevento IGP and Falanghina Sannio DOP denominations.
To invigorate plants and combat diseases such as downy mildew and powdery mildew, from the budding phase to the veraison of the bunches, we use the environmentally friendly and non-residual OZOGEA® tonic.
The wines and sparkling wines produced are obtained from grapes harvested and vinified with care, guaranteeing a high quality final product. The bottles are numbered in limited series to enhance the uniqueness and the production territory.

La Tenuta è un esempio virtuoso di agricoltura sostenibile, in cui la tutela dell’equilibrio naturale e la riduzione delle emissioni di CO2 sono obiettivi centrali. Grazie all’utilizzo di pratiche ecocompatibili, non solo preserviamo l’ecosistema, ma contribuiamo attivamente a ridurre l’impatto ambientale, promuovendo un’agricoltura che rigenera il suolo e favorisce la biodiversità. Ogni prodotto che nasce dalla nostra Tenuta riflette il nostro impegno verso una produzione etica e sostenibile, aderendo ai più rigorosi standard di qualità. Siamo orgogliosi del fatto che la nostra azienda è stata riconosciuta per le sue pratiche virtuose, ottenendo un punteggio medio di sostenibilità dell’83,59%, un dato confermato da studi condotti dal professor Paolo Trucillo dell’Università degli Studi di Napoli “Federico II”. Le ricerche dimostrano come gli oliveti della Erbagil Tenuta, grazie alle pratiche di coltivazione biologiche potenziate, assorbano una quantità di CO2 superiore a quella prodotta durante i processi di lavorazione, contribuendo così in maniera attiva alla lotta contro il cambiamento climatico. La qualità che caratterizza i nostri prodotti non è solo frutto dell’eccellenza delle materie prime, ma anche del nostro impegno costante verso la sostenibilità. OUR MEDICINAL PLANTS
The medicinal plants present on the Estate are studied by preserving their primary qualities and characteristics, evaluating and applying innovative methods to implement the production of precious bioactive principles normally produced, especially in conditions of stress.
These constitute the starting plant material from which to extract these bioactive compounds, according to a process patented by Erbagil Ricerca, based on physical and mechanical methods without the use of chemical solvents, with only water, ethanol and edible oils.
Once the bioactives have been isolated and fully characterized from a chemical and biological point of view, they are used, based on the final target, in the following fields: cosmetics, parapharmaceuticals, veterinary, agricultural, food supplements, foods for special medical purposes and PMC.
